I don't think I've ever seen a glaze do this. I'm blown away. A few pieces dribbled and will need to be ground down, but otherwise and incredible firing of a set of these bowls.
Plus a few little Japanese tea cups with the same feathering.

May Firing
May Firing shows a really nice flameware skillet in the back, a goblet which amazingly I was able to put back together bone dry. A LOT of new noodle soup bowls. Look at the gorgeous hair's fur in the one on the back left. Some mugs, sake cups. I was under the impression that these would be green, but this shiny black color is perfectly fine with me. Not pictured are the pieces my son and his friend threw and the spider yarn holder Paul next door made. OH and a really large stovetop casserole I think I want to reglaze and fire again. I have at least another kilnful and maybe two. Especially if I do a few odds and ends that have been sitting around the studio. St. Theresa did a wonderful job!
